Flickr is a website for you to store your images and photographs online for free, or for a price, if you want the premium stuff. Ever wondered why the logo is designed that way, with all the lower case the particular font?

Personally, I think it’s absolutely because it looks like the word FUCKR if it is in certain font and you didn’t pay much attention to it, for example, just a glance? I was stumbling online, and I stumble upon a site which showcase the photographs the author has on his Flickr account on the right of the website. This is normal for most websites, the thing is that at a glance (when I see it), the word FLICKR PHOTOS absolutely look like FUCKR PHOTO to me!

I kid you not. Look at the words above while moving a way from your computer, and I swear to Science, at certain distance, they will look like FUCKR photos. No wonder they put it with all lower case letters.

And what’s with the Flickr gamma? Most internet startup or new applications seem to have a liking to the word beta, and release their products at the beta stage, and it will ALWAYS remain as beta stage. The most obvious example? Gmail beta.

So, does Flickr want to cycle through all the greek letters, say Flickr Omega in the far future, before releasing their final product?
