Indeed, they are stupid. In fact there has been a lot of interest on the internet on whether they are stupid. This is evident by the keywords that people use to find this site:

Do note that there are 3 similar search terms to stupid Australians, totalling 74 visits. The original “Australians are stupid” post is also one of the most commented post in this website (not that we get a lot of visitors.) If you look at the comments, there are local and foreigners alike who seem to think and come to the same conclusion – that Australians are indeed stupid.
We recently get a comment from Jack on that post:
Bad grammar and spelling mistakes aside, one thing that caught my attention is how he spelled ridiculous. Jack said, and I quote:” The amount of assaults in this coutry are rediculous, aussies are aclohol obsessed and agressive people with NO common sense what so ever.”
I don’t know, Jack. Maybe you have read my previous post about spelling “rediculous”, and by using that particular spelling, you want to impress me by indicating to me that you have read it. What a good reader you have been!
Either that, or you are as stupid as some Australians. Please do check out How-To-Spell-Ridiculous.com. Seriously, it’s essential that you get it right, so that we have one less stupid Australian. Sorry Jack. Sorry I have to pick on you like that.

Hi,
I wouldn’t say that austalians are stupid, but here are some thoughts about the people from a certain country – give a guess who i’m talking about:
1. they like to insult everyone else to make their ego’s bigger
2. they must find fault in everyone else for the same reason above
3. they believe in making buddies at work to help themselves climb up the ladder rather than hard work
4. they like to crack insulting jokes at others (which is evident on their media – tv, radio, etc). They’re well known for it.
5. service is atrocious and rude , otherwise they feel as if they are be-littleing themselves
6. they walk on the road with their backs towards oncoming traffic
7. they make a big ‘doo’ about being anti-racist, anti-sexist, etc, but so many of them are just exactly that.
8. they vote for whoever can give them the most promises at election time, instead of voting for who’s best fit for the job (or rather they used to. some recent voting results show that they’re maturing and starting to not just pay attention to the jabber and more to the candidate)
9. justice system is a joke
Not everyone from that country are like that, I’ve known some pretty decent blokes, but the problem is that the ugly characters just stand out more. But, if you can identify what country I’m talking about, then you’re just verified your own opinions. BTW, half of these observations were from natives from that exact country. So,I’m purely just repeating some observations from others.

The fact that people still keep responding to such an old post amuses me. It amuses me more when most of the people who leave a comment wanted to know more about “Stupid Australians” in the first place.
So, Alice from Singapore, stop searching for “Stupid Australians” on Google Singapore and you will not find this site – and your problems will be gone! You don’t even need to spend 47 minutes and 21 seconds on this site.
And while I do not deny the problems in Malaysia, those thoughts you presented can easily be applied to Singapore as well.

I must say that I have to agree with Jack. I’m an Aussie. It is true, nearly every aussie waits for the weekend to get smashed, which is pretty pathetic. They really can’t drive for shit, they have no idea about “keep left unless overtaking”, they suddenly change directions while driving and will hold up a whole highway, and they couldn’t care less. As a professor told me once, it’s an individualistic type country…. very very selfish folks who are drunk every single weekend. Aussies live in PUBS, these PUBS stink.
But on the other hand i’m part of this nation, which makes me feel bad about all this. Aussie life = work – pub-alcohol-gambling-sex with whoever- back to work again.
